Portfolio
Students are selected on the basis of a portfolio and an oral interview.
Discursive Curriculum Vitae mentioning the four main sections (2 pages in English and in French):
- education/training (diploma and quotations, courses and quotations)
- professional experiences/internships,
- language proficiency justification at a minimum B2 level in English and in French (certified test)
- center of interests
Motivational letter stating professional project (2 pages in English and in French)
Recommendation letter (1 page in English or French)

Interview
Short-listed applicants will be invited to an interview in English by video conference, with a jury of three members from the Selection Committee and the addition of one non-academic member selected differently each year from our pool of non-academic associated partners. During this interview, a 10 minutes presentation will be given by the candidate, followed by 15 minutes of discussion in English and in French with the members of the committee to assess scientific knowledge and personal motivation. An “interview” grade will be given by the Jury according to the following evaluation criteria :

The MISEI programme can select 20 funded students receiving a monthly allowance of 1400 euros plus 10 self-founded student. For both categories of students, the registration fees for each unit will be covered by the MISEI project.
Scholarships
MISEI has a capacity of 20 founded students (€1,400 per month) and 10 self-founded students.
Both the group of founded students and the group of self-founded students are exempt from tuition fees at each of the universities where they spend their study mobilities.
Student insurance
Lorraine University provide the enrolled EMJM founded students with the health insurance coverage for the whole duration of the studies (including all mobility periods) in full compliance with the EMJM guidelines “Minimum requirements for the Health and Accident Insurance Coverage of Erasmus Mundus Joint master’s degree students”.
The coordinator organizes and administers insurance for the students. The insurance is valid from one month prior to the start of the study period for which the students are enrolled and is valid up to four months after the end of the program action.
